About APFCP

The Asia Pacific Federation of Coloproctology was established 40 years ago to enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange among colorectal specialty organisations in the Asia-Pacific region, promoting the development of colorectal surgery and research across the region.

The Annual Congress is the premier gathering in colorectal surgery, stoma rehabilitation and related specialties. Held alongside the Asian Society of Stoma Rehabilitation (ASSR) Congress, it fosters collaboration, innovation and knowledge-sharing across the Asia-Pacific.

In November 2027, the Congress comes to Sydney for the very first time — a milestone we're proud to celebrate.
